The Experience Rating for businesses premiums being introduced by the ACC from the 1st April affects all employers. It creates a more urgent need for employers to ensure their OSH systems are bullet proof. If there are work-related accidents the employer will pay heavily. Employers are far better off to prevent the accident
We advise businesses to appoint and train someone within their organisation to deal with ACC claims because many claims that are not work related are often paid for by employers.
We strongly advise employers to put a defence in place as a bare minimum. The next step is to ensure the accidents and injuries do not occur.
