Queen's Birthday Public Holiday

The Queen's Birthday Public Holiday is always observed on the first Monday in June. This year that's Monday June 7th. Important to note this is not Mondayised, ie. it hasn't been moved from a different day simply to be observed on Monday, like a few other holidays this year in particular.

Therefore, only people who normally work on a Monday are entitled to it, and the normal rules apply;

  • Relevant Daily Pay (RDP) if not working and normally would;
  • 1.5x RDP & a day in lieu if working and would normally work;
  • 1.5x RDP only if working but don't normally work Monday.
